INTERNATIONAL CONTACT WEBINAR: Supporting Ukraine in VET – Cluster event on internazionalisation (12.12.2025, online)
On 12 December 2025, an International Contact Webinar for VET Institutions (Cluster event on internazionalisation) was organised.
The event was organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine in close cooperation with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the European Association of Vocational Education and Training Providers (EVBB), and Folkuniversitetet (Sweden).
The main objective of the contact webinar was to support Ukrainian VET Institutions in building cooperation capacity and finding partners among EU vocational education and training providers.
Approximately 200 representatives from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine (Kyiv and 16 regions) took part in the event.
The participants were welcomed by Iryna SHUMIK, Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
Guidance on cooperation within the Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) call was presented by Danila CONTE, European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
National priorities for participation in Erasmus+ calls for vocational education were presented by Oksana RUMOVSKA.
Theodor GRASSOS shared opportunities for cooperation with the European Association of Vocational Education and Training Providers (EVBB), as well as information on ongoing projects involving VET Institutions from Ukraine.
The presentation by Kateryna PUHACHOVA, Folkuniversitetet (Sweden), focused on practical case studies of cooperation projects with Ukrainian VET organisations and provided recommendations for developing successful projects.
During the second part of the event, participants worked in four working groups, where VET Institutions from Ukraine and the EU discussed project ideas and opportunities for cooperation within Erasmus+ calls for vocational education.
